A Helping Hand From Our OPRs

It is always a real joy to welcome Old Port Regians back to school and this summer term was no exception. At the end of term we were delighted to see several familiar faces return, lending their time, energy and enthusiasm to support our A Form Leavers Programme.

Tom P-C and Alex W brought back their characteristic good humour and dedication, offering practical help and encouragement to pupils as they prepared for the end of their Port Regis journey. Alongside them Margot M and Matty F were also on hand to share their skills and experience. Together, the four of them made a tremendous contribution across a wide range of activities. From back-stage set building for the much-anticipated leavers’ play, to coaching on the sports pitches and guiding younger pupils through different elements of the programme - their presence was invaluable.

Having Old Port Regians return not only strengthens the bonds between past and present pupils but also provides inspiring role models for those preparing to move on. Their generosity of spirit, willingness to help and clear affection for the school remind us what a special community Port Regis continues to be. We look forward to welcoming them, and others, back again soon.
