Celebrating the 80th VE Day Anniversary

Port Regis School commemorated the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a vibrant and heartfelt celebration. Pupils honoured the end of the Second World War in Europe and remembered the bravery of those who risked and gave their lives for their country. The dining hall was adorned in patriotic red, white and blue, setting the scene for a nostalgic celebration. Traditional British desserts were served, adding a sweet touch to the day’s events. A highlight was the Pre-Prep Street Party Tea held in the courtyard where children gathered to share food, laughter and stories in a joyful community spirit. The event offered the children a meaningful opportunity to reflect on history while celebrating peace and unity.
