Bravo to A Form pupil, Florence, who recently came forward with an incredibly generous donation to fund a whole solar panel as part of our school 'green vision’ to become carbon neutral by 2030. “There are so many problems in the world relating to climate change and it affects all of us,” she said when she visited the Headmaster to discuss it. “It’s really important and I feel strongly that everyone who is in a position to do something about it, should.” The Headmaster was blown away by Florence’s maturity and kindness, and thanked her on behalf of the entire school community. The wooden oak leaves naming those who’ve contributed to this fantastic and important project will go up in the Dining Room next term, while the solar panels are going up as we speak.

If you would like to fund a solar panel (each one costs £650) – perhaps as part of a year group or team – then do please get in touch with Emily at opr@portregis.com.
